Knitter Knotter Tunisian Blanket CAL 2022

Blankets can be such an investment but they make you so proud in the end. What I love about blankets that are created with squares is you can break them down and make them just a little bit at a time.

Arunima of Knitter Knotter is back again with a amazing year long Tunisian Crochet-A-Long. I have watched this project from a far and was an honor to be asked to create a square for this year.

I chose, to create a square using a simple but lesser known stitch called the Double Seed Stitch. It alternates using Tunisian Purl and Tunisian Knit Stitch to create a lovely textured square that can be dressed up however you like it. My version was a single color but Knitter Knotter made the lovely square pictured here and you can really see how just adding color changes effects the look.

Knitter Knotter operates this as a Mystery CAL which means each square is released every other Wednesday and is a complete surprise. The patterns in this CAL will also be available for purchase as a bundle. If you decide to purchase the bundle, you will receive the PDF version of all the squares as they are released (you pay less than a dollar per pattern!). This is a mystery CAL so, if you purchase the bundle, you will NOT receive all the patterns at once. You will receive a new pattern every 2 weeks as the squares are released in the CAL.

I’d love to see your square! Please share them on your social media with the tags @knotbadbritt, @knitterknotter,  #knitterknottertunisianblanketcal2022, and  #knitterknotter so that I can share them.

Looking for community? Join the Facebook Group to find others working on the CAL. You can also see all of previous and future squares on Knittter Knotter’s Blog or following her Pinterest Board.
