Week 6
One of the best part about this pattern is that it is adaptable. If you are using a heavier weight yarn or had trouble getting gauge just right, no worries. I’ll be providing instructions by weight in addition to by each row. If you chose to work by weight alone, know that the measurement does not have to be exact but be careful not to go over the weight suggested. I’ve incorporated a reserve for all of the yarn used. This should account for differences in gauge over the course of the MCAL and avoid yarn chicken!
Abbreviations
Dc - Double Crochet
Esc - Extended Single Crochet
MC - Main Color
Color A…..H - Coordinating Colors
Sc - Single Crochet
St(s) - Stitch(es)
Sc2tog - Single Crochet two stitches together
Pattern Notes
This pattern is written in shorthand. '2sc' means to work two sc into the same stitch. 'Sc 2' means to work one sc into each of the next two stitches.
Extended Crochet - Insert hook into stitch, pull up a loop, pull through one loop, yarn over, pull through two loops. Video Tutorial
There will be a considerable amount of color changes. I recommend working over your ends or weaving them in as you go to reduce the amount of weaving in that you will have to do at the end.
To change colors, I recommend to pull up your next color in the last loop of the final stitch.
Turning chains do not count as a stitch.
