24 Days of Quickies with Marly & Friends | Jester Cowl

In a rare turn of events, I’ve remade a pattern I wrote! I first published the Jester Cowl in the winter of 2021. I spent the entire season wearing this cozy cowl.

The Jester Cowl is a short cowl to cut back on the bulk while still providing warmth. It is created using two different colors of Debbie Bliss Merion and just three stitches. The clever use of these stitches lends itself to providing simple colorwork without showing an obvious seam.

The Jester Cowl is a 4 page pattern than includes a picture tutorial. You can grab your copy in My Shop, or Ravelry.

Best Yarns for The Jester Cowl

While I loved making my sample with Merion by Debbie Bliss, I wanted to make a new version with hand dyed yarn. For my recent sample, I used bulky yarn from Bad Sheep yarn in Marley and Garland. I think this new color combination is very festive!
