The Flock Fiber Festival is coming, and The Makers of Color Collective booth has some thrilling plans. What's new this year?
We'll have one dyer, Marcela from Little Wing Fibers, in the booth instead of many. This will give everyone time to chat and get to know another wonderful maker of color.

I've arranged for not one, but TWO amazing authors to have guest signings! You might know them: Toni Lipsey and Sasha Hyre!
I met Sasha at Vogue Knitting Live in January, and she's such a ray of light. I've admired her for a while, and when we met in person, it felt like we were old friends. She was at VKL promoting her newest book with Laine Publishing, "Island Vibes," and she brought her gorgeous samples from the book. Her book focuses not only on the vibes of summer but also on the importance of her Jamaican heritage. She poured so much of herself into this book of 9 knitting patterns. I can't wait for attendees to meet her and bask in her light!
Sasha will be signing books in our booth on Saturday 8/10 from 2 pm to 4 pm and on Sunday 8/11 from 10 am to 12 pm. You can preorder her book for signing until July 7. Preordered books will be available for pickup at the Makers of Color Collective Booth at Flock. Bring your book by during the dedicated signing hours to have yours signed by Sasha!
Toni Lipsey has been an inspiration to many, including myself, for years. She's a big reason why I learned to crochet, and her passion for crochet, Tunisian crochet, and making modern patterns that appeal to crafters of all ages is why she's beloved in this industry. Plus, she's kind, real AF, and a trailblazer.
Toni will be signing copies of her book "The Tunisian Crochet Handbook" at The Makers of Color Collective booth on Saturday 8/10 from 11 am to 12:30 pm. You can bring your own copy of her best-selling book or preorder one to have it waiting for you during the signing.
