Bamako Pillow

The Bamako Pillow Crochet Pattern uses a fair isle colorwork technique to mimic these stunning designs. The motif's main color switches on the opposite side to provide versatility.

This sample is made with WeCrochet Wool of the Andes Superwash Bulky in Coal and Oatmeal Heather.

It is my hope that my design pays a respectful homage to the African Diaspora and invites others to learn more about where it comes from. While deeply influenced by African traditions and patterns, The Bamako PIllow is for everyone and I invite you all to make one.

This project is a special one for me. It is something that I am extremely proud of. I hope to create more mudcloth themed home goods in the future to further honor my ancestors.
